Well hey there Bob. I think everyone is a little apprehensive to committing to a bunch of things with the economy like it is. I know I am.

I'm waiting on a bonus check sometime this month, and part of that will be my UMTR membership. Funds are short for big mods this year, so I'm sucking up, and running it as is. Should make for some good times. This is the first year I haven't been in school or the Marine Corps for over 10 years.

I'm just anxiously watching the weather reports looking for a nice 50 degree day so I can drive the car. I've made a rule for myself that the stang doesn't see the pavement if it isn't at least 50 and sunny out after putting her through so much abuse as a DD all those winters.

I've practically forgot I have a car. Definitely looking forward to summer. A cold beer on a hot day on a lake somewhere is all i see when i close my eyes.....

I have lots of hope for my car (not the Obama type) but until I can devote more time to my second career to turn those hopes in to reality.

I plan on getting the interior finished in the '47 and getting it out a lot more this summer. Not auto related but I hope to take the kids camping a couple of times this summer also. I also plan on stealing Kyles keys and getting his garage code so his mustang actually gets on a road!

Auto X is a blast. I wish i had the budget to support a road course car.

Right now, I'll just be happy to be working s I can put gas in the car. It seems all good news is followed by some kind of bad shortly there after. I am hoping ot just be able to gte the car out and drive it more this year. Going to the track is fun but thats not why I have the car. I really could care less how many cars out there are faster than mine. I just want to be able to go out, start it up and cruise around. Thats what Im looking forward to most of all this summer. I would be cool to hit some cruise in's or a car show as a group this year.

I would really like to see people go to more cruise ins and local car shows, festival ones are usually free, makes for a great summer afternoon and good hang out times!

I dig the cruise inns but not so much the all day shows anymore. But its always fun to hang with the GCS crowd. I have found with my car that there came a point when I got tired of cleaning the rubber off the rear quarters every week just to put it back on the next weekend. Not saying it was a show car by any means but keeping them really clean takes some serious time especially with no garage currently!

I've still got rubber on mine from September!!!!! Doesn't help that it is on the rear quarters, the truck, the roof, the hood and just about everywhere else either!!!

Yeah, i keep thinking that, or a new a humane way to get rid of about a dozen cats in my neighbor hood, or a illegal way and not get caught ;)

Get you some of those cage traps and just take them to the humane society. We had a problem at my old shop in Springboro, and that's how he took care of it!

I have a pellet gun that shoots a .177 pellet at 1000 feet per second... works like a champ!
