Got any 2wd rangers?? I need what I would call a passenger side "upper spring perch". Basically the piece that bolts to the frame rail and cups the spring.

Yes, I have a couple. I'm assuming you need the front coil spring pocket. I'll look in the morning when I get to the yard. I think the newest one is an 88. I'll have to see if I can find an interchange, too. Call me Saturday if you want 937 773-7372.

Does your truck have the shock mount as a part of the spring pocket? If so, he's got one.

Yup, looks like i need the spring pocket with the shock in it. Also looks like the brake line somehow comes through it in the front. Looks like its got 3 or 4 bolts holding it on horizonally, and 1..maybe 2 down at the bottom by the snubber.

This just became a little hotter (ready to buy another beater). Any ideas on how to ship this thing? I'll mail you a check sometime after Friday morning. My zip is 46112.

Grade 8 should be fine for putting it back on. I can ship it, no problem. Guess I better get it off though. PM me your address and I'll get it comming in the next couple of days. As long as shippings reasonable we can just call it even on the deck lid. Sound good?

I'm good with that, the deckild surely didnt take as long to get out as that pocket will.

Got about half way through it Saturday and ran out of gas (acetalyne). Filled the bottle this morning. It may be out now, Jack was going to try and finish it up. One way or another you'll have it before the end of the week.

I cleaned it up and threw some primer and paint on it. It's not perfect, but miles above what you have. I had trouble with one bolt hole, so it will need a large hardened washer to cover up where I got a little agressive. I would probably use a hardened flat washer on both sides and a lock washer on one side as well. Just to make sure nothing goes anywhere. This was the best one in the yard but it was starting to get thin in places. I would under coat the hell out of the back side of this thing. Water seems to stay in there and rusts it out from the back side.
I threw in some related stuff; rubber snubber and brake line clip.
