as the title says.. testing waters see if the price is right ..

1980 cobra pace car

body is in good shape. no rust.. just mainly little dings.
interior is in awesome shape..
the car right now is with no motor or trans..

but i have a 351w on the stand that would go with it.
bored 40. heads ported, bbk equal length headers,and i have a set of long tubes,weiand stealth intake, full 8.8 rear end with .410 gears, b&m ratchet shifter, old school 5 star wheels, new comp cam .512 lift flat tap, with comp lifters, and a set of bad ass springs.....

nope. i cant find any of the pulley shit had to go to 8 million junkyards still missing some pieces. the only thing i need is a torque convertor stock one i dotn care.. and figureing out the wires since it use to be a 4 banger turbo. i hate wires. yes i know i cant build turbo kits , do air ride and everything else but yes i hate wiring..

My point was that I probably have everything you would possibly need, but you have to dial and ask. Have a list of things you need and I may have it all.

i think i need a stock crank pulley for a 302.. the 351 pull doesnt line up.. it needs to be out just alittle more. or i need to switch water pumps.

Minor point, there is no such thing as an 80 pacecar. It would have to be a Cobra. Do you have the interior badging?

I'm not doubting you, But even 5.0 resto lists stripe kits for 79 pace car.. The other kits are 80+ Cobras????? It made me wonder too!!!!

it use to have the strips down the side and the whole car was gray. sanded it down and sprayed it in yellow and black. because the paint was old and faded. so i just sprayed it with some colors i had at the garage..

its a solid car for a 80

should be running this week. all after market guages in it and interior is all back together everything is hooked up.. all i have to do is run the lines to my holley fuel pump and it shoudl fire.. if it runs hood then i might go head and butmy turbo on it just to see what a ford well do..
