I'll keep my eyes open. Which do your prefer or would either be ok? The styling of both eras of trucks stayed the same through the years shown below with grill and hood styling changing through the years slightly. This makes it easy if you buy one and like another year better to change styling slightly. Ford went from a straight axle to twin-I-beam around 65. I've owned both and like both styles. I've got a friend that I've bought several trucks from that has a connection for rust free Kansas stuff. I can let him know if you like.

I like the pre 60's style. What are the chances of him having one say under $3K???

Right on!! When I got back from Iraq last year I was seriously looking into getting one. Note I was in Fayetteville North Carolina, every rust bucket I went to go look at was $6K+ My budget is 3 and under as my Truck fund has slowly shrunken. However, I do have a 1984 Chevy 6.2 Diesel that I'm going to sell. Hopfully I will get a few bucks out of that to help out my truck fund.
If he has something in that price range that is still drivible, I am 100% interested. My buying window wouldnt be until after July as my diesel is in the shop get a new tranny installed before I put it up for sale. Thanks for looking out!!!:bigthum:

I just bought a new grill for the Mustang. The one that centers the fog lights and removes the Mustang. Also sometime next week I'm getting the windows tinted.
AFTER THAT, I'm putting her up for sale. :violin:
I'm really pressing hard to find a new project. Would love to find a 1950-56 Ford pick up. Something that has been started, but still cheap.
