Anyone bought or know where I could find/buy a K&N conical style air filter?
I want one that will slip over the end of a stock mass air meter... preferably I would like to be able to choose the length dimension also; trying to avoid doing something new with my battery location...
Point me in the right direction! thanks

cool thanks! I'll try and grab a couple key dimensions, I might have to wait until I actually mount the MAF to be sure, I think it is going to be tight but I want to try this way first (really against moving the battery to the other side or trunk!) See you on Saturday

UPR has a big mouth filter with flow enhancer for the 3 1/2" mass air meter mount up to 9" long, for 40 bux! Red or Blue!

Hey,
I have a lightly used one that was on a GT convertible, just like you are looking for. $35.

MachMan -
what is the length dimension on the one you have? Reason I ask is that this will be used in a EFI setup in a '65 mustang - where the battery is located on the passenger side leaving little room to fit w/o moving the battery...
thanks, Dan

It's 13.5 inches long. Probably too long for your application. They make shorter ones. I had a little one on my 86 with MAF. Although that one went in the fender.
