HELP!!!!
Looking for a decent 5.0L engine that runs, locked up my oil pump in mine, sounds like a 'singer sewing machine', I want to rebuild my exsisting block to a 347, but it is gonna take abit of time, just need something to get me by, the weather has me itching to drive it again.
p.m. me or email @ chappys50@aol.com

My buddy has one laying around he doesnt need. He got it out of a Marquee(sp?). The only thing is its throttle body injected, so you would have to switch intakes. Said it ran good before being pulled.

If I'm not mistaken, the firing order on the Marquis 302 would be different too. Same goes for any non HO. 5.0, didn't know if this matters to ya or not just thought I'd mention it. :)

Thank you for looking out for a fellow 'stanger' blueoval, I didn't think i would work also because of the H.O. firing order. I think last throttle body injected 5.0L in a marquis was in like 83-84...
Also thank you ufiluky for replying to the thread, let me know if you know of any1 else wanting to get rid of a 5.0L...
Should have mentioned that it has to be a H.O. engine, sorry about that...

I should have thought about that also. What you could do sense the motor is out and the intake has to be swapped anyways is throw your old cam in it and hook it up H.O firing order. Wouldn't take long. Just an idea.
