Hey guys, I bought this 96 probe last fall because I needed a good work car/winter car. I limped it home as it was pretty worn out and started resurrecting it to be a decent work car. I'm looking to buy a better condition awd beater now. Anyway, $800 firm.. starts every time and never leaves me stranded. Before I realized, I put 1100 in parts in it, lol. Far from perfect but it does the job and has been my daily driver for months. Good 1st car for a young one to beat on :shinner: I'll also list the bad points to be transparent about the car's condition.

96 Probe SE, 5 speed,
New:
front pads/rotors
rear shoes/drums
thermostat
tie rod ends
front sway bar end links
passenger front control arm
passenger wheel bearing
passenger cv axle
passenger toyo proxy (last owner ran it down on the sidewall)
spark plugs
full exhaust (flex pipe, mid pipe, catback)
duralast battery
cleaned mass air & idle air control valve

BAD: things i haven't fixed just yet
*lash adjusters tap, normal issue if u don't buy high grade oil. Next thing was to get a set and replace
*last owner has fan hot wired so it runs all the time. Fan motor, fuses, ECT sensor are all good. I'm pretty sure it's a relay. Haven't bought new ones yet.
*cluster doesn't work unless its really cold out. Seems to be a ground issue. The gas/oil pressure still work but the speedo/odometer/temp/volts do not until its middle of winter.
*previous owner had a little fender bender, passenger front turn signal doesn't work, socket issue, he put a new front fender on though. The wiper fluid resevoir was also busted. I haven't pulled the fender to replace it yet.
