I'll be offering my services to anyone with the 2005 and up mustangs. I am also availible for models of previous years for similar work. I can change the color of or replace burnt out LED's in... Door lock switches, window switches, steering wheel controls, climate controls, radio buttons and soon... the gauge panel its self. I'm able to replace the factory green or other color LED lit switches with most colors available. I'm currently working on my own vehicle. I am changing most of mine from green to red to match the car. Will soon be able to do the non-Mycolor gauges for those of us that werent lucky enough to get that option. Which means your guages can now be any color you wish. Or even any combination of colors never seen before.

For those of you that do have the Mycolor gauges you will no longer have to settle with green switches and controls that clash with your favorite gauge colors. In a single color or combination of any colors.

As far as for myself I'm trustworthy and dependable. I take exceptional care of customer vehicles and property. And I have spent some time working for Mike and Matt at Dayton Performance. So they are familure with me. I've been soldering since high school. Have held a few jobs in that area. And I am capable of soldering by the governments MIL STD 2000 spec.
I will also post up some pictures of my progress. I can be contacted through the board or at my personal number (937) 875-5287.

Do you just do this to 05+ cars?

To be honest I'm just more familure with these parts. You do have some options with the older cars. But they use mostly incondesent light bulbs to light gauges and such. I could be wrong though.
You can convert all lot of that stuff over to LED lighting. However your color choices would probably be limited to the lens color under the switches and such, if they can not be changed, since they all use white light.
I would really have to see the parts in question to tell you one way or the other.
Hope this answers your question.

Thanks,
Scott

More pictures..... Since the LCD display on the radio has a green plastic cover the color can not be changed. So I left that section all green so it didnt look so out of place. With the exception of that and the red, white and blue climate control knobs. Everything else is red. Even if the pics dont show their true colors.

I finally got a chance to work on my gauge cluster. Mine is either green or white. So not a lot of options for color. I did something a little different on my gauges and copied one of the GT-500 lighting options. The gauges are now red, white and blue from left to right.
And next are some pictures to take you though some of the process....

First the gauge pod was removed...

Then disassembled...

The needles are pulled and the case opened up to gain access to the PC board...

Then the green leds are unsoldered and removed. Leaving the white leds for daytime driving. The leds of color choice are then soldered in.

Here is a test session with the complete PC board in car...

And here is an example of the white leds in action with the lights off and ignition on...

And further testing with the PC board in the case with needles installed...

And the finished gauges...

Think you could do motorcycle gauge clusters? I want my busa gauges to have blue led, and my girlfriend wants her gsxr cluster to be pink. I might even want my gsxr cluster done in blue as well.

I'm not familure with the bike guages. But I would be happy to look at them. If they are led's, it shouldnt be a big deal. I will have to figure out which led's they use before I can order them though. And I'm sure I can get blue. Pink may be a little harder to find. I'll have to see what's availible.
Let me know what you decide.
